We follow the measurements of current IKEA sofas. Some IKEA sofas have been updated over the years (for example, the Vimle, pre-2021 versus post-2021 versions). We rely on the model and version information you provide to ensure a proper fit. Please check the sofa's age and specific model configuration when ordering. If you're unsure, please send us a photo or the original purchase date before ordering.

Yes, the sofa covers can be washed in the washing machine. Make sure the covers are not washed at a high temperature. We recommend washing at 30 degrees. You cannot put the covers in the dryer. If you want to iron the covers, do so at a low temperature such as 110°C.

Norsemaison covers are made specifically for IKEA sofas. Our Classic, Velvet, Corduroy, Chenille, and Bouclé fabric collections are made of polyester. Polyester is a strong material that, unlike cotton, doesn't fade easily in the sun. Because no fabric is completely UV-resistant, we recommend limiting UV exposure, for example, by closing the curtains on sunny days. Our Seaside collection is made of linen and polyester. The covers in the Outlet are new, but may be leftover stock or returned. They are always undamaged and come with the same high quality guarantee as our regular collection, but Outlet items have a different return policy. Returns must be reported to customer service within 14 days of receiving your order and are eligible for a full refund if the covers are in new condition and in their original packaging.

Don't worry! Thanks to our Perfect-fit guarantee, you can have your curtains shortened or narrowed by a local upholsterer/tailor. We'll reimburse 75% of the alteration costs, up to a maximum of €100. This is only possible once per order and upon presentation of a valid receipt or invoice from the upholsterer/tailor.

This warranty only applies to reducing the size of the curtains, not to lengthening or widening them.
